The short version: Project Circle Browser collects nothing.
The app has no analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, accounts, sync, or backend. We cannot see what you browse, search, or do.
Local settings only
The app stores only local settings on your Mac: window size, pin preference, and chosen search engine. These values stay in local macOS user defaults and are not sent anywhere by Project Circle Browser.
WKWebView trust boundary
The app's only network surface is WKWebView, which loads
user-entered URLs and searches. When you navigate somewhere, your request
goes directly to that website or your selected search engine through
system WebKit. Nothing is routed through us because there is no backend.
Destination websites
Websites opened in the app have their own cookies, storage behavior, and privacy policies. Those practices belong to the destination websites, not to Project Circle Browser itself.
Third parties
There are none. No third-party SDKs, no ad networks, no trackers.
Children and changes
PCB is a general-purpose utility and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, of any age, because it collects no data.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Given the app's design, we do not expect it to.
